Do you have a gripe about Triberr? Read on!

I run a forum with some odd 150ish people in it. A lot of us are in the same Triberr group. Outside of that my reach is over 2.5 million 1 million so I have heard my fair share of gripes. Here is my response for all those gripes you have, may have, or have had.

Gripe: Someone is not tweeting my stuff.
Answer: Bummer, put them on manual if it bothers you.

Gripe: Too many tweets are going out in my twitter stream.
Answer: Bummer, put them on manual if it bothers you.

Gripe: I tweeted so and so’s post, but they didn’t tweet mine.
Answer: Bummer, put them on manual if it bothers you.

Gripe: There are too many coupons and reviews and giveaways going out.
Answer: Bummer, put them on manual if it bothers you.

Gripe: I am tired of tweeting the same posts and opportunities over and over.
Answer: Bummer, put them on manual if it bothers you.

Gripe: I don’t like XXXXX.
Answer: Bummer, put them on manual if it bothers you.

Get my drift? Put them on manual if it bothers you. when people signed up to be on triberr they did not sign a contract to give you control of their stream. It is THEIR prerogative what they want THEIR audience to read. Put them on manual if it bothers you. Don’t complain, don’t gripe, don’t get all drama over it. Just put them on manual if it bothers you.

***This was a post meant for my Tribes of my mommy-bloggers. It was in fun. I had to remove several comments this morning that were not suitable for my children to read. Shame on you! Saul, yours got removed just because well they can read it on your blog…so why promote you on mine?

****Sometimes If people who invite a mommy-bloggers in blindly should read about the persons blog first, then they would not have to kick them out when they get sick of their reviews, giveaways, and deals.

I think I was one of the “complainers” that sparked this post lol. When I first read it I just laughed though… it was obviously written for fun. If someone cannot understand that, they probably need to remove the stick from their……. ahhh I promised no cursing. Okay. Moving on. :) Just keep doing what you’re doing, Jennifer. Haters gonna hate.. and they’re gonna link back to you and try to get some traffic. This is probably the most traffic that person has had since they started their blog. I think I’m gonna call you out on something and see if it’ll keep my traffic going while I move. lmao

  2. Hey Makobi, forgive me if I am miss-reading you, but it would appear that (“…then they would not have to kick them out when they get sick of their reviews, giveaways, and deals”) you might have thought a certain tribe we shared was mine. It was not. I, thus, could not have removed you. Only the Chief can do that (besides leaving a tribe yourself, of course). Further, in my comment, and in the blog article in question, I made no mention to your content, subjects covered on your blog, etc. I only discussed our vast difference of opinion on the manual setting.
That said, I read your message, and am so sorry to learn that people left nasty comments on your site. With the post I did – on your opinion and mine, on the manual setting and nothing else about your blog, kindly remember – I did not anticipate that any backlash would be directed at you. Certainly not my intention, but please accept my apology for any and all nuisance.

    • I never stated you removed me. We shared two tribes, and you were not chief of either. I am also not complaining that they removed me, I understand. I just think they should have gotten to know who I was before inviting me–then they would not have had to “upset the balance” of their streams and would not have had to kick me out.
The power of Triberr can be an amazing thing, and people are passionate about it in many ways and on both ends of the spectrum. Sometimes, I think we forget the power of the internet and the reach that we have reaches so many people who will take things differently then the way we intend to write them. Thank you for expressing your non-intentions, and hopefully the next time our blogs cross paths it will be for a happier occassion.

Not sure if I should give my opinion because I’m not part of your tribes’ issues. However I will say something: Triberr is and has always been about you maintaining control of your stream. That’s why you keep getting new functions to make it even more controllable. Honestly I don’t mind if the person is publishing too much of a single thing like giveaways. If the content is good then why not help another blogger out? I know I’ve met amazing people and discovered great blogs thanks to Triberr. By the way I don’t work for them or anything. I’m just a happy Triberr user.

Change your settings and review your stream. Ask your followers if it’s annoying them because it may just be what they wanted all along. Be kind too because you can’t buy good karma.
