Baby Einstein sent my boys the second installation in this fabulous series, World of Rhythm. As soon as the package arrived, my son knew it was for him. He could barely wait for me to get the box open before he had the DVD and TV turned on. Mason was bouncing around Jakobi babbling, “What’s that?” This particular Kit came with a small board book that Mason claimed as his own as I put the DVD in. In Baby Einstein fashion, the DVD captivated both of my children. Mason was bee-bopping around, while Jakobi was patting and tapping the couch, floor, and chair. After watching the movie THREE TIMES in a row, we had to leave for a play date. Jakobi remembered from the last kit that we received that it had a CD and brought it with us (or made sure I had it). He knew the music was different from the other CD and told me to change it to the right one. Smart little man.
The new Baby Lullaby, Neptune’s Oceans & World of Rhythm Discovery Kits join six recently released titles (Baby Beethoven, Baby Mozart, Animals Around Me, Wild Animal Safari, World of Colors and World of Words) bringing the collection to nine total. Kits can be found at stores across the U.S. and Canada only and/or online at BabyEinstein and retail for the suggested price of $19.99 U.S./$24.99 Canada. The DVD we received was World of Rhythm (releasing February 22, 2011) – Your little one will want to keep a beat, snap his fingers and march his feet! Join new characters Pillie, the musical woodpecker, and Coco, the dancing cockatoo, and share the excitement of rhythm with your baby. World of Rhythm explores rhythm in music, rhythm in nature and rhythm as a form of expression. It’s a fun way to encourage children to express themselves through singing, dancing, clapping and playing!
