Hollandaise Sauce

One of my favorite sauces is Hollandaise Sauce. It is so easy to make and tastes great on so many dishes! A few of my favorites are Asparagus Crepes, Eggs Benedict and on green beans.

  1. Stir egg yolks and lemon juice vigorously in a 1 quart saucepan with a wooden spoon
  2. Add ¼ cup butter

  1. Thank you… seems very simple… do you think it would be just as good with the margarine or will that taste off???

  2. I’ve only had hollandaise sauce a handful of times but it was amazing every time I had it. I’ve seen a few food network stars make theirs in a food processor or blender to make it easier.

  3. So simple! Who knew. I assume recipes are difficult and then stay away. I will have to bookmark this for dinners during the school year!

  4. I’ve never even tried hollandaise much less make it–however this looks yummy and simple to do -so thanks for sharing -great pictures too
