We are slowly becoming a pretty high tech family. It took me long enough to even get a smartphone about 4 years ago. I finally ditched my desktop for a laptop about 2 years ago and I felt like I was so tech savvy! Caitlin recently started high school and part of their program is to give all incoming freshman an iPad. Unlike when we were in school, lugging heavy books around, they are virtually all online now. Caitlin does not have one single book she carries unless you count her music folder for orchestra. I did not even need to get her a backpack as it turns out! The one thing I did not want to do was have a broken screen on that new iPad, so I needed to get a good case to protect it. With the awesome products from Hard Candy Cases, broken iPad screens are a thing of the past.
Broken iPad Screens
Hard Candy Cases is the brainchild of Tim and David, who are pretty passionate guys. Tim competes in Triathlons and qualified for the 2009 70.3 Ironman Worlds. David has a penchant for martial arts, running and archery (which my daughter wants to learn). Tim started and ran the very cool iPod accessory maker, Speck Products. David, who hails from Belgium, has been a consultant in the Industrial Design industry for many years. Now the two have created Hard Candy Cases, which is filled with clever products to keep you from getting those broken iPad screens!
We were sent the Bubble Chrome Case as well as the Shockdrop Rugged Case, both of which sell for $44.95. The Bubble Chrome Case is so cool! It has a metallic (we got gold) exterior that goes over the lightweight polycarbonate body. It snaps together very easily and gives easy access for your mic, speaker and charging port. The Shockdrop Rugged Case (we got the black) is one of the most superior cases we have ever had. You can drop your iPad on the floor and it is not going to feel a thing! You get 10mm of shock absorbing silicon with four-corner protection. It has rip proof port covers because they are so thick and the semi-rigid Screen protector gives you added screen protection. Caitlin also received the very clever Bubble Slider case for her iPhone 4, which sells for $34.95. This case also has a polycarbonate case which is lightweight yet very rough and touch. The bottom slides off easily to give you port access and has the bubble design which is all the rage. You can also find products for your iPod, tablet, and Mac Book, all of which can be purchased from their website. Be sure to follow Hard Candy Cases on Facebook as well as Twitter.
