capture the moment

My days can get hectic, with plenty to do and not much time to do it in, and I love it. My boys are tireless bundles of energy, careening from one adventure to the next barely pausing to eat or sleep. I keep up as best I can because I don’t want to miss out on any of it. My smartphone is my favorite tool when it comes to being ready for anything. It is always handy to snap a picture or record a video, and I am always looking for new ways to capture the moment.

capture the moment

XFINITY® has a new feature of their X1 Entertainment Operating System® coming out soon that will take ‘capture the moment’ to a whole new level. I’ll be able to use a downloadable mobile app from XFINITY® to share an event live to my TV. I think it is a feature I could find many opportunities to use. You will not only able to watch it live on TV, but save and share it later. I can’t wait to send my boys’ soccer game home to my big screen. I get to see them live every week, but now it will be easier than ever to share.

We love to draw, paint and build things together. They are very creative, and with a little help they can produce works of art. One day we were building robots out of cardboard boxes and whatever else we could find. My youngest became quite taken with his creation, and began to dance happily around with his robotic friend. I was so excited to be able to capture the moment from my smartphone by snapping a picture. I shared it with everyone. I would show it off on my phone or email it to his great-grandmother. With the new feature, I would even be able to show it live on TV.

I can imagine a ton of other uses for it, from school plays and recitals to beaming messages of love home when away on a business trip. It will make it almost like being there while sitting on the couch. Over time, a library of memories will be built, easily recalled to experience again on the big screen. I can’t wait to get to try it out. It is another great reason to be a XFINITY® subscriber.
