Porch Swing
With the warm weather quickly approaching, it would be great to have a porch swing. When the kids are playing outside I grab a plastic chair form the deck so I can keep an eye on them. The chairs we have are the plastic Adirondack style and they are not the most comfortable thing to sit in. I have put off getting cushions because they are crazy expensive! I thought it would be really nice to relax in a porch swing while enjoying the weather while I watch my sweeties play! I have researched the best swing to buy and most of my results were leaning towards cedar.

Outdoor Wooden Furniture
If you enjoy being outside when the weather allows, outdoor wooden furniture is a must have! Most of the furniture I have had for the deck and yard has been plastic. I just don’t like the look of plastic furniture and it is not made to last for long. I may be able to keep plastic furniture for a few years, but they don’t last much longer than that.   I was so thrilled to review a gorgeous cedar porch swing (retail $219.00) from All Things Cedar. I was given the 4’ cedar porch swing to review. I have never had a porch swing, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The swing does not come assembled, so you will need to put it together. The instructions were very easy to follow and it took less than 30 minutes to put together. We have enjoyed our swing so much and we have only had it for a handful of days! I just wish I would have gotten one sooner! If you are interested in cedar furniture for yourself, All Things Cedar may be a good place to start.

My grandson Max, just turned 2 and was just diagnosed with autism as well and would be a great thing for him to do with me, his Nana when he comes to visit. Just saw you are a Mom on hold to care for your family. I deeply love the fact that your kids come first. Need more of this these days.
