Chocolate Covered Nougat Candy Recipe

After all of the candy making at my house, I was really craving a good nougat. I surveyed the ingredients that we had gathered for the Country Crock party, and was thrilled to find that we had the makings for a fruit cake type nougat candy recipe. I used the cocoa roasted almonds and crushed them, but you can use really any nut that you want. I also used maraschino cherries, but I bet this would be great with dried fruit as well.

Wow, I am definitely going to try this one! Guess it is a little too early to start thinking about Christmas gifts but I like to try and make a few treats to give out to neighbors and friends. This looks delicious and seems like it can be easily customized. Thank you for sharing :)
