Container Vegetable Gardening Kits

Container Vegetable Gardening Kits

I have been looking for container vegetable gardening kits that are easy to use.  I have what they call a brown thumb, so my gardening experience is just about nil.  I am so bad at growing things that even my artificial plants die!  I thought it would be fun if the kids and I were to start a small garden.  Whenever I can slip a lesson into a fun activity, I am all for it!  We don’t have any space in the yard that is suitable for growing plants, flowers or veggies.  I thought a container garden would be much easier and was a good solution to the lack of yard problem.  I wanted to find something that would be easy enough for the kids to put together as well as easy maintenance.  I also wanted a container that would be sturdy and durable as I was planning to keep it for a long while.

A Garden Patch is a great company that has developed one of the coolest products I have ever seen.  The Grow Box from A Garden Patch is a gardening kit that is easy to set up and easy to care for.  The Grow Box itself is a very well-made container and the kit comes with everything you need to have a successful gardening experience.  You just need to add the seeds of your choice and potting soil mix.  The Grow Box is self-fertilizing, self-watering and you don’t need to worry about weeds in your Grow Box garden!  The Grow Box measures 28”Long x 14” Wide x 12” High, making it the perfect size for those of us who have very limited space to grow anything.  What I love the most about The Grow Box is that you need not be an expert gardener to have your Grow Box grow healthy and tasty vegetables.
Grow Your Own Tomatoes

Grow Your Own Tomatoes

When I knew I was going to receive a Grow Box, I was excited to see you can grow your own tomatoes.  I love, love, love tomatoes and eat them almost every day.  Now that I am on Nutrisystem, it is even more important now to be sure I eat enough veggies with my program food.  When we received our Grow Boxes ($29.95 each), the kids could not wait to set it up.  As a matter of fact, as soon as the kids opened the box and saw the contents of the Grow Box, they went on the deck immediately to begin putting everything together.  We had already decided on tomatoes for the garden as that is what many of the customers who bought The Grow Box grew.  When I saw the pictures of all the ripe and juicy looking tomatoes, I knew I wanted to plant them.  When our Grow Box arrived, the kids and I went to the store and got a bag of potting soil mix and our seeds.  The kids did everything by themselves and it didn’t take more than 10 or so minutes to get everything put together.   Because the Grow Box is self-watering, there is very little you need to do for maintenance other than wait for the fruits of your labor develops.  Since we just received our Grow Box, we have no sprouts yet, but I bet we will see some before long.

One reader will receive one Grow Box (ARV $29.95)

  3. I have a question maybe you can answer. The website says you can grow a variety of things with these boxes, including berries and cukes, but when I select a box, it doesn’t give me a choice of anything. So how does that work, do you know?

  4. The garden patch grow box, for the past 2 years we have tried to grow our own tomatoes….emphasis on tried.
