Kids Hate Waiting? Try A Countdown Calendar For Kids

When you are a kid, it is almost excruciating to wait for special occasions. Taking a drive with the kids saying “Are We There Yet” a thousand times can drive you crazy. It can be even worse when they are waiting for a fun holiday to arrive! My kids have gotten older, so it is not quite as bad but they still hate to wait. With Henry, he does not understand about waiting and time passing, so for him, he has trouble processing how long a wait may be. I can say “wait five minutes” or “wait five days” and often times they both mean the same to him.  If you have kids, there is a really cute product on the market that is designed to help kids pass the time waiting for a special day more fun.

A Countdown Calendar For Kids

The Countdown Cal is a really cute countdown calendar for kids that was created by a retired teacher and grandmother of 3 young kids. She knew all too well how hard it can be for kids to wait for a fun holiday like Easter, so she designed an interactive calendar to help them pass the time. She started with a Halloween calendar in 2012 and has now gone on to create the new Easter Countdown Cal. For the Easter calendar, there are 16 flaps, that your kid will open and they get to enjoy their hidden treat. The Countdown Cal is great fun for kids of any age and they will have a blast with the daily fun game that is printed under each flap that takes them on a little hunt of their own. The number of days left until Easter is also printed under each flap to help your kids keep track of how much longer they are going to wait for the big  day. Kids will love the unique Countdown Pal makes it fun to count down the days by letting the kids make a big “X” on his face as they countdown each day until Easter arrives. My kids really love the Countdown Cal and although we received our Countdown Cal a bit early, I was able to talk them into waiting until the first day they would be able to open the first flap. You can purchase The Countdown Cal online for your kids at the special price of $10.

The Easter Countdown Calendar Game, filled with 16 foil-wrapped crispy, chocolaty treats would be perfect for my 4 year old daughter.
