I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Jif To Go Dippers. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating.
create a snack station

It seems like the more pregnant that I get, the more difficult it gets to keep up with my 3 year old walking tornado of a child. I am almost positive that he knows that mommy can’t jump up and run after him as easily as I was able to a few month ago. Therefore, he’s totally taking advantage of me! Aidan goes to school 3 days a week. The days that he is home with me have become more and more challenging. A few weeks ago I put together a freezer full of ready to go dinners for us to enjoy after the baby got here. Afterwards, I got to thinking. Aidan is relatively self sufficient. He grabs his own juice box from the fridge and can grab his own snacks. I decided that it would be a great idea to put together a toddler snack station that would save my back and allow him to be self sufficient, too!

create a snack station for toddlers

How To Create A Snack Station For Toddlers:

  • Portion The Snacks: One of the easiest ways to stock the snack station is by buying in bulk. Aidan loves treats like dry cereal, trail mix and pretzels. I purchase large bags of each and portion all into a small snack size bag.
  • Create A Space For Keeping: Clear out a small space in your pantry and/or refrigerator that is within reach of your toddler. Purchase small sorting bins or re-purpose boxes from around the house to keep the snacks in.
  • Include Ready To Grab Foods: To make things exciting for your toddler, include foods that are ready to grab. Fruit pouches, Jif To Go Dippers, fruit cups and other quick and easy pre-packaged snacks make things easy for both of you.

One of Aidan’s favorite snacks that I’ve included in his snack station are Jif To Go Dippers. They fit flawlessly in to both of our busy lifestyles. He can grab a Jif To Go Dipper and bring it over to me to open up for him. They are even the perfect snack for me! I will grab two Dippers and Aidan and I will eat them on the way to school in the morning. I love the Chocolate Silk with Pretzels. It’s like a perfect peanut butter and chocolate combo. Aidan is a fan of the classic Peanut Butter and Pretzels. We have found Jif To Go Dippers at all of our local grocery stores, and they are affordable, too, at only around $1.50 each! The price and convenience make them the perfect snack to include in Aidan’s snack station.
