Custom Made Curtains
When buying new furniture, your home is not completely decorated until you hang custom made curtains. I can sew basic curtains, but my items never had the quality look that an experienced seamstress can give. I had some inexpensive chain store valances in the kitchen and although they were really cute, they looked like they were bought at one of the major discount stores! I bet many of you can relate to trying to decorate your home with quality items without paying the prices the boutique stores charge.
When I met Jolie Sarrantonio of VieDeJolie I could not help but be blown away by her hand sewn creations. Jolie is a graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in communications but her heart was in a different place. Given the fact that Jolie’s mother was a home textile designer, it is no surprise that Jolie has an eye for quality and detail. Jolie recently told me “As I searched for the perfect career that combines fashion with fabulous fabrics, I decided to use what I have learned over the years and try my hand at picking out fabrics and designs…”.
Hand Sewn Home Decor
I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to review hand sewn home decor (valued from $39.99 to $79.99) from Jolie’s fine fabric and trim collection . It was so difficult to narrow down my choices that I had to ask Jolie to choose for me! To ensure each customer will get the perfect fit, Jolie gets the needed dimensions for each item and gives you a wide range of fabrics and trims to choose from. I just wish my picture could translate how gorgeous Jolie’s work actually is. I was overwhelmed by the quality of the fabrics and trims and Jolie’s attention to detail. I feel very fortunate to have something so beautiful and meaningful to show off in my home.
VieDeJolie recently hit 100 sales and to celebrate, Jolie is giving one lucky winner a $100 gift certificate to be used in her Etsy shop. Thank you Jolie for your generosity!
