I love to find custom made jewelry for myself as well for gifts.  I have loved wearing unique, hand-made jewelry for several years now.  In Atlanta, there is a cluster of really cool shops that sell mostly custom made jewelry and clothing.  I know when I visit my daughter who lives in Atlanta that we will be heading to Little Five Points to hunt for cool jewelry.  I love to go shopping with Chelsea because she has such a gift for finding just the perfect ring, bracelet or earrings.  Chelsea is a graphic artist and paints and draws as well.  She has a great eye for color and style that I always defer to her when I need advice on choosing accessories.  There is something to be said about browsing through a really cool and funky shop and discovering a treasure of an unusual piece of jewelry.  I have become a fan of an artist that would fit in to the Little Five Points area seamlessly!

Distorted Earth is by far the coolest shop I have ever had the pleasure of discovering.  Brandy Kamenski and her husband Chad work together to create the most unusual and gorgeous jewelry I have ever seen.  With a young son to raise, Brandy and Chad made the decision for Brandy to work from home.  What a great decision that was!!  From the moment I saw the jewelry from Distorted Earth, I knew there was something very special about it.  The love Brandy and Chad have for each other and their desire to be hands on parents comes across in their work.  Brandy and Chad only use the highest quality of materials for their jewelry.  You will find only the most exquisite stones, crystals, pearls and a variety of quality metals for your jewelry.

I especially love the handcrafted rings from Distorted Earth.  I am always pleasantly surprised to see what treasures Brandy sends me.  I didn’t want to choose anything for this review.  I asked Brandy to choose for me because I know her sense of style is immaculate and I knew I would not be disappointed!  The collection of rings Brady sent me is just breathtaking!  The way Brandy manipulates the metals she uses and the way she presents the stones, pearls and crystals is just AH-Mazing!!  Brandy sent me several gorgeous rings (total price $56.00), which included:

I tried very hard to convey the detail and beautiful materials Brandy uses in my pictures and although my pictures are good, they can’t come close to how stunning they are.  Brandy and Chad’s style are like a favorite pair of jeans; simple, relaxed and something you want to wear every day.  BUT…there is another layer to their jewelry that can be compared to adding a delicate silk shirt and your most funky heels with those jeans.  By combining those together, you get this incredibly laid back look that is at the same time delicate and eye catching.  That is what you get when you buy a piece of jewelry from Distorted Earth.  And just like Lays potato chips…betcha can’t buy just one!!  With her incredibly affordable prices, you can easily build a collection you will have for years to come!
