Custom Painted Decor For Kids

Custom Painted Decor For Kids

I am nuts about custom painted décor for kids.  Whenever possible, I love to find unique and one of a kind items to accent their bedroom and playroom.  I also love to give hand painted knick knacks as gifts because the personal touch is just more meaningful!  When we bought new furniture for the kids, there was a lot of modern and sleek lines that I wanted to soften a bit.  The furniture was intended for adults but they were priced so low that we had to grab them up!  The kids had never owned new furniture, so this was very exciting for all of us.  We have had a blast adding cool pieces of art to their rooms.  We have some really adorable book ends and treasure boxes but we needed a few other pieces to round out their decorations.

I love to find small business owners and artisans who may not have otherwise been exposed to the large readership Makobi Scribe has. Coolisart is an Etsy shop owned by Lisa Baldwin, whose original artwork is some of the cutest I have ever seen.  I have looked at so many hand painted items for kids and it seems these artists use the same few patterns over and over again. The reason I love Lisa’s work is because she does more than just paint some dots or swirls on her items.  I mean, I could probably do that much, right?  Lisa has a gift and that is easily seen the moment you browse through her Etsy shop.  If you can’t find what you are looking for, all you need to do is send Lisa a message and she will do what she can to meet your needs.  Lisa’s partner Allan fabricated many of the items for Lisa to paint on.  With the Tennessee River lazily passing by, it is easy to see where Lisa gets some of her inspiration!

Original Works Of Art

When you visit Lisa’s shop, you will experience the joy her original works of art brings.  You can’t help but have a smile on your face as you browse through her sea creatures, sail boats, cowboy motifs and so many other adorable designs.  I was fortunate to have found such a generous person in Lisa.  She sent me a huge variety of items that showcase her talents perfectly.  Lisa tests each prototype to ensure it will last you a good long time and will hold up to repeated use. I hope you can see from the pictures I took the attention to detail Lisa has with each and every piece she paints.  With Lisa, you know you are getting a group where the last piece is just as perfect as the first. You can see Lisa is not afraid of color or design and is always up for a challenge, so if you don’t see what you want, Lisa will make it her mission to create that perfect thing for you.
