Aha! This is where the getting gets good! Kate sheds some unwanted dead weight (well in my opinion) and picks up a new beau! She also learns a shocking (or not considering the book genre) secret about her Grandpa. A killer virus enters the scene proving that not even angels are impervious to germs and you wonder whether he will live or die right up to the end. What I found most interesting was that I could not tell if some of the supporting characters were allies or not. It made for a truly suspenseful read, and I am still not convinced the head guardian is a good guy!

Heather Frost was born in Sandy, Utah, and raised in a small Northern Utah town. She is the second oldest of ten children, and she loves her family very much. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in English at Utah State University. Heather has always been an avid reader, and reading and writing are among her favorite things to do. She also enjoys playing the flute, listening to all types of music, and watching a wide variety of movies. Guardians, the final book in the Seers Trilogy, will be released July 2013.
