Recently, I was invited to cover a Smartfood event. I was compensated for this opportunity, but it is a product I believe in. We all have a circle of friends and family that are full of smart women. These women are Strong, confidant and smart! They have the ability to inspire the rest of us to want to be like them. Smartfood wants to know if one of those ladies is a SMART  woman. This amazing woman is in a category all to herself, and the folks at Smartfood think she should be recognized and rewarded. I am sure each one of you knows at least one person to fit the bill that the Smartfood brand is searching for. I consider myself to be Motivated, Accomplished, Responsible and Thoughtful, but I may need to work on my Savvy a bit!   12. I like to help the homeless in the city where I live.There’s a guy who started a wonderful homeless organization here in Martinez,Ca. My sister’s and I donate things such as blankets,socks,hygiene products,etc. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone in need. Thank you đŸ™‚

  78. I recently tried the cinnamon brown sugar popcorn from a local store and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately my local store had it marked down as they are not carrying this particular variety anymore so I Purchased the three bags they had but now I’ve got to find somewhere else that sells this incredibly yummy popcorn. I haven’t seen this brand anywhere else yet but I’m looking forward to trying more of their products. Thank you for the chance to win.

    Motivated – self-taught myself to type, learn all computers, etc.
    Accomplished – I was promoted numerous times at my job (from receptionist to National Sales Mgr.)
    Thoughtful – Give anonymous gifts or send words of encouragement to those in need.
    Savvy – have a great knack for publishing video slide-shows.

  191. I embrace the SMART criteria by being married for 25 year and being a SAHM to my two children. I volunter at my childrens school and the local animal shelter and help take care of my Mom who has Alzheimers.

  228. i read the ingredients on everything i buy for me and my dogs. i volunteer, take care of family-took early retirement to move and take care of my mother for over 12 plus yrs, it was very difficult, dealing w/ 3 older siblings who were abusing my money mentally, dealing w/ all of the lawsuits, and not having income for many yrs and giving up half of my retirement and benefits to care for my mother-24/7 , not having life of my own….

  237. So far my favorite is the White Cheddar popcorn. I have been trying to eat healthy alternatives so I bought a bag of the white cheddar popcorn to try out. I loved it and whenever I show an interest in a new food, my husband gets intrigued and wants to try it too. He loved it. My daughter saw it was popcorn and wanted to try and loved it too. Needless to say, we can’t keep a bag in our house for more than two days.

  292. Being a diabetic has made me take a long look at my lifestyle and health. I make the time to exercise and to eat right. I eat only whole grains, very little sugar, lean proteins, lots of veggies and some fresh fruit. It’s made me healthier and leaner.

    Those are the ones I REALLY really want to try first of all. Then the sour cream onion puffed corn! Oh these snacks sound awesome. I have not tried them yet- but I have SEEN them in the health food section of my fav store. I must get some.

  566. I think almost all the women that I know in my life are SMART women. They are intelligent, strong, capable, hard workers both in their jobs and for their families.

  590. I do believe I honestly try to embody some of the SMART criteria everyday. Also, knowing the areas I’m not as strong in help me to become a better overall person.

  596. With two kids under 5, it’s really hard for me to be motivated or thoughtful. I try to shop on the edges of the store where the healthier foods tend to be. I know I need to be a responsible mom to my kids and feed them right. I have to do that for myself as well.
