Do you remember when ET hit the big screen and became an overnight sensation? My sister and I were dying to see it and went to one of the first screenings available. When we came out, there was a line waiting for the next show and my sister told everyone it was so worth the wait! It has been a movie that has stood the test of time and is still popular today. My kids and I count it among one of our favorite movies. When I read the synopsis for “Earth to Echo“, I knew this would become another family favorite. I really think it is going to be a popular as ET and there will be long lines waiting to see it as well.
Tuck, Munch and Alex are a trio of inseparable friends whose lives are about to change. Their neighborhood is being destroyed by a highway construction project that is forcing their families to move away. But just two days before they must part ways, the boys begin receiving a strange series of signals on their phones. Convinced something bigger is going on, they team up with another school friend, Emma, and set out to look for the source of their phone signals.
What they discover is something beyond their wildest imaginations: a small alien who has become stranded on Earth. In need of their help, the four friends come together to protect the alien and help him find his way home. This journey, full of wonder and adventure, is their story, and their secret. I think this sounds a bit like ET, do you? This little robot is certainly going to work its way into our hearts just like ET did so many years ago. Here is a short trailer to give you just a glimpse into this future hit!
