Easy Mothers Day Craft For PreSchoolers

Around here, we like to cut paper and take pictures, so I figured making an easy Mothers Day Craft for my toddlers should involve both of these activities. You can see how we incorporated these activities into our other easy crafts for toddlers. We made this Mothers Day Craft to give to Grandma to hang in her house to twirl around in the wind so she could see the boys smiling at her!

Materials Needed:

  • 2 pieces of colored construction paper
  • Curling Ribbon
  • Glue Stick
  • Scissors
  • Brad
  • 2 Paper Plates

First I traced the boys feet on the colored construction paper several times to make the petals of the flower. Then after cutting them out, we glued them to the back of a paper plate using a glue stick.

We secured the curling ribbon to the top of the plate using a brad and then glued the two paper plates back to back. I put a picture of each boy in the center of the flower to smile at my Mom all day long :)
