Make Your Own Bells –  Easy New Years Crafts PreSchoolers Can Do

Materials Needed

  • Wooden balls with holes in them
  • Elastic thread
  • Jingle Bells
  • Colored penils or markers
  • Scissors

Instructions
  • Color the wooden beads
  • Tie on the bells in clumps to make more noise
  • Thread the beads alternating with clumps of bells
  • Tie off the end of the string
  • Shake, rattle and celebrate the New Year!

  1. I like this idea for a New Year’s Eve party. The kids get to do a craft that is super simple and occupies their time for a little while. They also get a noisemaker to ring in the new year, and on top of that, it is still functional for the rest of the year. Or until Mom and Dad get tired of hearing bells 😉

  2. I think my daughter would love this! She’s 9 but she loves arts and crafts and anything that makes noise. This would be great for pictures or in a holiday video also!

  3. I am always looking for simple crafts that are easy for a small child to make. I think this would not frustrate a young child ( just be careful of very young children putting small objects in their mouth!) Thanks for the idea!
