Easy Preschool Craft for Easter

Mommy and Me Flowers is a real easy craft for kids to do around Easter or in Spring. It is fun to do with your child because they get to see the size difference in your hands. This is one of my favorite crafts to do with my toddlers because they actually get to participate from start to finish! After doing this craft check out the rest of my Easy Crafts For Toddlers.

Easy Preschool Craft For Kids for Easter and Spring

Mommy and Me Flowers

Materials needed:

  • Construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Craft Sticks

Tracing hands for toddler craft

First we traced and cut out our hands on bright construction paper. We picked blue and red. I used sparkle paper here for an extra added pop.

Cutting Strips of Paper for easy preschool craft

I let the boys cut out little strips of paper that we would later glue on the “stems. ” Here is is cutting red, but we choose green to stay within our flower theme. This is where Mason decided to cut his hair, and now he has a funky bang line. I guess that is what happens when you let a two-year-old hold scissors. It was still fun and every kid has to cut their own hair eventually right?

I put Glue on the Craft Stick and let Mason put the pieces he cut on the stick. This simple easy craft for preschoolers and toddlers took about 15- 20 minutes.
