Well, school has been in session for a week and we have already heard complaints about the cafeteria food! I guess we can put a man on the moon, find cures for major illnesses and have a ton of modern technology but not make a school lunch that kids will eat. The biggest issue Caitlin has with the lunches is that once in a while there will be so meting really good, but most of the time it is just not that great. I do not mind packing her lunch, especially knowing she eat it because she packed what she likes. I try to make her lunch as balanced as possible and I also want her to have something to satisfy her sweet tooth. With the new Sara Lee Snack Cakes that are baked fresh to go, she gets a little bit of heaven in her lunchbox.
