Yellow Rice and Beans Recipe

Game day food doesn't have to be boring!
  • ¾ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 Bag of Success White Rice
  • 2 tablespoons sliced scallions
  • 1 pound of ground beef, browned
  • 1 packet of chili mix
  • 2 cans black beans
  1. Heat the turmeric, cumin, and cinnamon over low heat until fragrant, stirring, about 30 seconds.
  2. Add water, butter, salt and bag of rice to the mixture. Cook until rice is done.
  3. When rice is finished, fluff with a fork and add scallions.
  4. In separate pan, add chili mix, black beans and rice to the browned ground beef.
