During the summer months, my family and I are outside virtually all the time. We have a lot of fun things for the kids to play with in the back yard like a trampoline and a slack line. We also have a really nice park with walking trails about 1 mile from us that is full of trees and beautiful flowers. We really enjoy going to a nearby park with water fountains the kids can play in and there is a huge playground next to it. I like to wear shoes that are easy for us to slip on and off, especially at the park. I have gotten water shoes at the retail stores but after the kids wear them int he water a few times, they fall apart. I was looking for a shoe that my family could wear often, were comfortable and looked good and would last. That is why I love Okabashi, a family owned business that has been providing quality shoes for 25 years!
Eco Friendly Shoes That Are Comfortable And Stylish
I have always been a flip flop wearing kind of girl and now my kids are as well. Because we wear them about 9 months out of the year, they must be well made. We are wearing these shoes at least 4-5 times a week and that is a lot of wear and tear. If they are not well made, we are throwing them in the trash in a few weeks and are buying more. That is just not a wise financial move considering how much that can add up. With the shoes from Okabashi, you get eco friendly shoes that are comfortable and stylish. They are 100% recyclable, have fantastic foot support and have a massaging insole. The shoes are also anti-microbial, dishwasher safe, and backed by a 2-year guarantee! Have you ever heard of a shoe that could do all that? Me neither!
We received the pink floral print for Caitlin and Henry received the brown. I was very impressed with the impeccable design and construction of the shoes. Caitlin needs a shoe with a good arch support and I can tell you it is difficult to find that in a casual shoe. When trying to find that in a flip flop is virtually impossible. This is a shoe she can wear as often as she likes and her feet are not aching by the end of the day. Henry is a typical boy, so he is pretty rough and tumble (like the picture of him stepping on his sister’s toe?!) so I need a good solid she for him. These shoes are made so well that he can run around and give them a good work out and they do not show the wear whatsoever. These are a fantastic shoe and I am completely sold on them! You can purchase the Okabashi shoes from their website, and they range in price from $14.99 – $19.99.
One USA reader will win their choice of shoe ($14.99-19.99), based on availability.
