Easy Crafts For PreSchoolers- Create A Rocket Ship
Materials Needed – Kiwi Crate Supplies
- Colored Paper
Fold the piece of selected paper in a cylinder and tape the edges together. Then seal one side with tape like Jakobi is doing above. that is one thing I love about Kiwi crates, they allow the toddlers to do so much all by themselves and they allow enough materials for both kids to create a craft! After sealing the edge, Jakobi cut pieces of ribbon to tape to the bottom to fly in the air! He loves to cut and the scissors were included. Then all you have to do is put a straw in the open end and blow! Three, Two, One BLAST OFF!
Kiwi Crate sends crates monthly right to your door, designed around fun themes and filled with all the materials for a hands-on project. To join Kiwi Crate, all you have to do is become a member first through either a monthly or a yearly subscription plan. Projects within the crates cover different developmental areas, such as art, science and imaginative play. These projects are geared for kids between the ages of 3 – 7. Monthly subscriptions are $19.95 per month and annual subscriptions are $220 per year, which saves you a little over $1.50 per year.
Encourage Creativity in Children
A Design Team made up of parents, who are guided by specific design principles, designs the crate projects. Together with an Advisory Board, and Test Crew Kiwi Crate works closely to ensure that the projects are engaging, appropriate, universally appealing, and that they encourage creativity in children. Some sample themes for crates include Dinosaurs, Gardening, and Colors.
The Advisory Board includes experts in education, developmental psychology, art, and science to ensure they are delivering developmentally appropriate and enriching projects. The test crew consists of children of all ages who thoroughly test each project to ensure they will be popular in anyone’s home.
Great Gifts for Children
Kiwi Crate also makes great gifts for children, and can be given for three months, 6 months, or one year. My kids love to receive presents and you can see how much fun they had making the rockets! I am going to buy them the yearly subscription for Christmas this year. There are enough supplies in each crate for several crafts and enough for two children, and if you want to order through my link – you get $10 off and I get $10 off. Win -win
