If you are ever in Phoenix, the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is an amazing place to stay. To be honest, calling it a place to stay is not doing it justice as it is more of an overall experience.  You will love the Spanish-Mediterranean-design that looks onto the awe inspiring Phoenix Mountain Reserve. With almost year round sunshine, you can swim and splash around in acres of water or play golf on award winning courses. If you are looking for a space to host your next corporate event, the event planners at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort will be happy to assist you. So if you are in Phoenix for business or pleasure, your stay at this luxurious complex will be one to remember. Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is a mountainside resort located in the granite bluffs of Arizona. Because Phoenix has the advantage of more than 300 days of sunshine per year, guests are able to enjoy the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort’s acres of refreshing pools and championship golf year round. The resort is rich with Phoenix history and known for its dramatic mountainside setting, dedicated staff and community involvement. With award-winning golf, acres of swimming pools, extensive conference space and a variety of restaurants, the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort offers the perfect location for business or rest and relaxation. The Bloggers go crew were thrilled to be able to relax and reconnect with each other over dinner.

Experience The Luxury

No matter the budget, you can experience the luxury at The Tapatio Cliffs Resort. The Standard Suite, which is far from any standard suite I have seen, offers plenty of amenities for those on a budget. The two room suite has lots of space and you have a choice of one king or two queen beds as well as a sofa sleeper upon request. You will find a separate living area, a fully stocked mini bar, two TV’s with cable, wireless and wired internet and the luxurious Hilton Serenity Bed and Bath collection.  The 2 room Ambassador Suites with its southwestern decor are geared for the business traveler.

The gorgeous Luxury Suites are perfect for the larger group with its large separate living area includes a fireplace, lounge area and a dining room that seats 5. In addition to the standard amenities in the Standard and Ambassador suites, the Luxury Suites offer a 2nd half bath, extra closets, fireplace and wet bar. For the most lavish suite of all, the Grande Suite is the most magnificent you could imagine. You and your entourage have plenty of room to spread out with 2 bedrooms with king beds, a gorgeous living area that boasts a fireplace, stereo system and a liquor bar with top shelf products. You can seat 6 in this dining room, where you can be served from the butler’s kitchen.

After a day of playing hard or working hard, you can enjoy mouth watering food at the Different Pointe of View Restaurant. The magnificent view from the North Mountain in Phoenix is to the eyes what the delectable food from the Different Pointe of View Restaurant is to the tongue. With the floor to ceiling windows, you are presented with such sights as the desert scenery, the Phoenix cityscape and an unforgettable sunset like no other. Amidst the relaxing atmosphere you are treated to a fine dining experience that is hard to express in words.

To start your dining experience you can choose from such appetizers as Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli or Pan Seared Diver Scallops. If it is a salad you want, the Different Pointe of View Restaurant offers such unusual fare like a Blood Orange and Rocket Arugula or  Heirloom Tomato Carpaccio. The best dining area in my opinion was outdoors overlooking the cliffs.

For the main course, you will be treated to the likes of Olive Oil Citrus Poached Maine Lobster or Artichoke Pesto Seared Free Range Chicken, just to name a few. To end the meal, you can choose from such sweet indulgences like Chocolate Hazelnut Brown Butter Brownie or perhaps the hard to resist Classic Tahitian Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee. No matter the choice of food item, your mouth will be dancing with the flavorful cuisine. Once a month, they also host a private dinner where you can come and meet a wine maker (who they fly in for the night) and have your meal cooked right at your table.

Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is making learning fun for guests with local attractions during this summer’s “Edu-tainment” program. The program will combine visits from the Musical Instrument Museum, which I believe you had the pleasure of visiting, Arizona Museum of Youth, Arizona Science Center and Wildlife World Zoo and enjoyable activities for a summer of fun and education.

  • “Edu-tainment” will take place from May 28 to September 7 with visits from different partners and themed dive-in movies. The line-up includes:
  • May 28 – Sept. 7: The Falls Water Village will transform into a zoo with the visit from the Wildlife World Zoo who will bring furry friends and creepy crawlies.
  • June 22: The Musical Instrument will bring music and crafts for a sing-song event that includes the musical dive-in movie of the night, “The Muppets.”

  • Aug. 2: The Arizona Science Center will bring a mad scientist’s lab to the lobby with experiment, brain teasers and more before the dive-in movie, “Innerspace.”

  1. This region is also known for its spectacular landscapes and fine cuisine.
‘A change is as good as a rest’ as the old adage goes and good thing too, since a ski holiday in Verbier probably isn’t
going to give you much of a rest. Other all-inclusive packages worth looking up are at Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio ($459, includes 50% off parking),
