We are a family of gamers. My husband and I both game at nights and our kids will grow up to be gamers to. We do not discriminate and play all sorts of games across all of the available outlets. We game on PCs, laptops, iPads, tablets, PlayStation 3, Xbox, and the Wii. We even game on our phone. So it should be no surprise that a lot of our indoor family time is spent trying to beat each other (I mean help teach the kids how to play) video games.
Jakobi and Mason can both handle the PlayStation 3 better than us, and my oldest Billy has PlayStation in his veins. We have been playing NCAA Football 12 in preparation of the NCAA Football 13 release on July 10. We bought NCAA Football 12 just days after its release and totally plan on doing the very same thing again!
Gaming is a way that our family enjoys each other company. We take time to show the kids how the controllers work and they are soon off on their own providing real competition. The boys really enjoy watching how their actions on the joystick create actions on the big screen. We usually end up laughing more than competing, but we still have a great time.
There are a ton of new features on the new game like the Heisman Challenge where you can play as a former Heisman challenge winner to try to win the trophy again. You can choose one of the following players and utilize their legendary skills.

Which football player would you choose to be? You can also try testing your reaction time, an all new passing game where an enhanced receiver control puts you in position to make a play on the ball and new read and react defensive coverage delivers greater realism on the gridiron, and dynamic dynasty where you recruit and Gameday Saturdays come to life with live studio updates and enhanced commentary by Rece Davis.
But the game is not the only thing that has new features, EA Sports has also launched You’re Covered which will be launched July 10th along with a FANTASTIC Giveaway! You can connect with EA NCAA Football on Facebook & Twitter. The You’re covered promotion allows players to upload your photo (or your kids) online and print a game photo that is customized with your/their face and the football player’s body. That will be really cute with my 2 and 4 year old! I am going to upload a photo for the whole family to see what great pics we can get and you should too! Don’t you think that would be a fun way to present the game to your kids with their face on it! I know Jakobi will be over-the-moon. In fact, we are going to have a EA NCAA Football 13 launch party. We are going to have football appetizers and football fun! You know I am going to post all about it and I will be including a great giveaway!
Look how realistic the new EA NCAA Football 13 game looks. I swear I can see leg hairs!
