The Flipflop wine collection includes Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir. I was sent three bottles, one of Riesling, Pinot Grigio, and the Pinot Noir. My inlaws were in town, so the Riesling and the Pinot Noir were gone before I could even snap a picture, but we did have a nice relaxing couple of evenings. The Riesling had just the right amount of sweetness to it. I do not like it when it is too sweet, and the Pinot Noir was not bitter and went great with our beef roast!
For the Pinot Grigio, my friend Robyn and I made white sangria. Yep! Made up the recipe myself, and I will share it with you.
- 1 Bottle of Pinot Grigio Flipflop wine
- 4 shots (or 6 lol) of brandy
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 pint of blueberries
- 1 bottle of soda water as a topper
- 2 T sugar
Cut the sliced fruit and put in a large pitcher. I usually squeeze a little juice from each fruit in the pitcher. Mash a few peach slices and blueberries with sugar and mix with the brandy. Add to the pitcher. Pour in the Bottle of Pinot Grigio Flipflop wine and stir. In each glass, fill with ice and add blueberries, pour in the white sangria and garnish with a lemon or orange slice. Serve and enjoy!
