Lisa's Impressive Nails
I know a lot of us think Easter is just for kids, but I enjoy the holiday as well. A large part of my enjoyment is decorating and dyeing eggs with the kids and hiding them while they are asleep. Because my kids don’t really like candy, I get the fun of thinking up different things to put in their baskets. While I am looking for the kids, I usually try to find something for myself as well. Sometimes my husband will surprise me with a little basket filled with a few treats. To give some inspiration to you readers who are looking for something out of the ordinary for an Easter basket this year, here are some cute basket themes I found:

  • Spa Basket: Fill a basket with some of her favorite bath and beauty products. A bar of handmade soap, a bottle of a favorite essential oil, a few candles and a new loofah will be a hit for sure.
  • Dinner And A Movie: Some women may like to have the night out, while some would prefer a quiet night in. For that lady, a basket with a gift card for a to go dinner with a few of her favorite flicks will only be topped better than with a bucket of buttered popcorn to enjoy with the movie!
  • Traditional: If you have a sweet tooth, there is nothing better than a basket with some sweet treats and pretty flowers.
  • Books: I love a good suspense novel and I would absolutely love a basket filled with a few of my favorite paperbacks and some jelly beans to snack on during the really scary parts. If you have an e-reader, a gift card for a few downloads works well too.
  • Manicure And Pedicure: I love having my nails done almost as much as my teen daughter. I thought this year it would be fun to have a mother and daughter basket we could enjoy together. In the basket I am going to include a pair of good clippers, an emery board, a pumice stone, peppermint lotion and cuticle oil. One thing I am going to do instead of buying a few bottles of nail polish is to include some pre-painted nails we can easily out on or take off. I was fortunate to have a very talented woman cross my path that paints press on nails! I stink at coloring my nails, and to have found someone who can create the amazing designs that Lisa Oswald from Lisa’s Impressive Nails can, is a blessing!

Fun Easter Gifts For Women

Fun Easter Gifts For Women

To be honest, most years I get so caught up in making sure the kids have a nice Easter that I don’t think about myself. What I did want to do this year was to have something Caitlin and I could share. Since the started 8th grade, Caitlin has been so busy that we don’t spend much quality time together. When I was trying to come up with an idea for fun Easter gifts for women, I thought Lisa’s nail designs was perfect for Caitlin and I. I want you to get to know the woman behind the nail (so to speak), so let me introduce you to Lisa. Lisa worked for many years in the education field with people who had disabilities as well as an academic advisor at a local university. That is until she had a stroke in 2011 that changed everything. In order to get her fine motor skills back, Lisa began painting her friends nails. With a lot of encouragement and support, Lisa opened up an Etsy shop  and is making a lot of ladies very happy with her beautiful creations. I absolutely am in love with the adorable designs Lisa did for Caitlin and I. I honestly cannot believe anyone can get a cute Easter Bunny on a little bitty nail that actually looks like the Easter Bunny! You can purchase sets of nails from Lisa’s Etsy shop for $18 per set and Lisa can work with you on a favorite design or color you want. Caitlin and I had a blast trying out a few of Lisa’s nails but are waiting for the big day until we go all out!
One reader will win two sets of Easter nails ($18.00 per set)

  1. I know this website gives quality depending articles and extra information, is there any other website which provides such information in quality?

  2. I tried to look on the site, but it says its on vacation. I did not get a chance to pick a favorite item. I did like the pictures of the ones she had on your site for Easter. Especially the bunny ones.

  3. I like the VALENTINE’S DAY. Raspberry nails with silver moons. Nail enhancement, press on nails.

  4. My inner goth is emerging again, Cavier nails. Nail enhancement, press on nails–in classic black.
I’m a chef, so I keep my nails unpainted for the most part and short. These look like a viable
    option for me.

  5. She is away and you can only view past sales. On her facebook page, she has a set in the header on the “guests” section. A pretty lavender with a darker swirl pattern. If you click on the photos icon, it brings up lots of nails she has done.

  6. Though it says she’s on vacation & I couldn’t view any of her other creations, I like the pink, yellow & blue striped nail in your photo above.
