Fibromyalgia Syndrome

This is a sponsored post by me on behalf of Lifescript.com. When we are kids, we think our parents are super heroes who will never age or get sick. When they actually do, sometimes we are not sure how to deal with it. When my mom shared with me she had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia Syndrome, I went to the internet to research right away. She told me it is a chronic condition where she gets body and muscle pain, tenderness and stiffness.  Because she has good and bad days with her chronic fibromyalgia, she has to plan her activities around it instead of the other way around. although there is no known cure, she explained the treatments of fibromyalgia are with medications and exercises, which can lessen the symptoms. I wanted to arm myself with as much information about it as possible, so I went to the Lifescript Fibromyalgia Health Center. Lifescript is an online service for women that has tips, articles, recipe and helpful quizzes from professionals in the health field. I felt better knowing there was a place I could go to get information and support for fibromyalgia.

When I was researching Fibromyalgia syndrome, I knew there would be a ton of information out there. However, who do you trust for the most accurate information? I wanted to get online health information from experts who were not giving opinions, but rather facts about chronic Fibromyalgia. With Lifescript, I found tips and advice about Fibromyalgia Syndrome all written by professional health writers, experts and physicians. I felt completely comfortable with using Lifescript for the pertinent information I needed. Some of the helpful information I found included anti-depressants can help with the pain. Also massage and acupuncture are additional helpful natural remedies. Relaxation therapy can lessen stress, which can cause a flare up. I am glad I can relay all this info to my mom.

On the Lifescript site, I found general information about treatments of Fibromyalgia, tips for what to eat, support for fibromyalgia, and what exercises that can help reduce the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. 4. My MIL has fibro and I think there’s an added level of struggle seems how so many people make light of the disease or just flat out claim ti doesn’t even exist. It’s sad that on top of the pain, people have to deal with the judgement from others. Its great that there are communities online to help them find support.
