I shop at Walmart all the time. It is rather close to my house, which is super convenient. Actually there are about 7 Walmarts in my town, so I have options. I love how organized everything is when you walk in the store. I can get in and out providing I don’t get side tracked with just the items I need. However, this rarely happens because I always find items to go with what my main purpose is. Like when I decided to update my boys’ room.
My boys have been sleeping on the king-sized bed in their older brother’s room since he went to college. They miss him, so I let them, but then it became a take-over. Soon they had two rooms, and when Billy came home he had none. So, I decided to get the boys bunk beds and freshen up their paint to entice them back into their own room again. I went to Walmart to purchase Ready, Set Glow! Disney paint to make a space ranger theme with Buzz Lightyear. Mason and Jakobi love Toy Story so I knew it would be a hit. Disney Paint is a premium-quality, ultra-durable paint that was formulated with your child in mind to withstand wear and tear, as well as repeated scrubs and washes. Scuffs, crayon and pencil marks, little finger prints, and tough stains, such as grape juice, wash off easily without removing the magical color. Sounds perfect for my kids room!
After I found the paint in the new Glidden paint section, I ended up getting glow-in-the-dark stars, black-lights and glow-in-the-dark posters we could color as a family. See what I mean? I am glad Walmart has a variety of items. It makes it easy from having to go to more than one store. As a mom, I value my time! Walmart always has affordable products and I am thrilled they have the new line of Disney Paints. The Glow-in-the-dark paint will make decorating with my children a fun activity. Disney Paint is a new line of paints available only at Walmart that captures the magic and inspiration of Disney with 112 exclusive colors and five innovative specialty finishes that are easy to use and apply.
I don’t let them do too much cause they are only 3 and 5, but I will let them help me decide where we will put the stars and rockets. They are so excited. We opened up the can of paint and tested it by plugging in the black light to see how it would work. Jakobi said, “That’s not so scary at night” meaning that he would not be scared at night with that paint. I hope transitioning them into their new room will be easy. We are going to do the whole unveiling at his birthday party! Since some colors of Disney paint are designed to complement not only each other but also Walmart’s Disney bedding and Disney room accessories, such as furniture, toys and décor options, sold in store or online, we will be getting fun new bedding too! How was it when you tried to change your kids room? Any problems?
