I cannot believe we have Valentine’s Day right around the corner! It seems I just watched the kids opening up their Christmas gifts a few days ago! Where has the time gone?! I am pretty good about choosing gifts for everyone, but it takes me a while to do so. We are not huge on celebrating Valentine’s Day in my house but we like to give a nice gift and because getting a sitter is hard for us, cooking a nice family meal. The guys are pretty easy to buy for but the girls have such picky taste, it makes it more complicated for me to choose something for them. Here are a few ideas I came up with for them this year. What do you think of my list?
Valentine’s Day Gifts For The Fashion Forward
- Leather Accessories: I love the smell and feel of leather and that it can last forever. I have a leather wallet that is more than 10 years old and has plenty of life left in it. You can give a luggage tag, a wallet or purse, a nice belt or even leather jewelry.
- Scarves: My oldest daughter collects scarves and I am always looking for unusual color combinations or patters. I love the Brooklyn Blossom scarf in teal, which is really hot this year, from Robert Matthew. At just $49, it fits well into my budget.
- Flowers: I know a lot of women would roll their eyes at the thought of flowers, but think of how fun it would be to have them delivered at your school? I think Caitlin would really get a kick out of that.
- Jewelry Set: I love to give jewelry, and I prefer to give the girls matching sets. Caitlin is all about earrings and necklaces and Chelsea prefers bracelets and rings! I love the modern geometric look and feel with the Silver Brooklyn Necklace, which retails for $70 from Robert Matthew and the matching Silver Brooklyn Earrings, which sell for $65.
I fell in love with the products from Robert Matthew when I wrote, “Five Popular Accessories For Teenage Girls,” featuring the gorgeous leather Sophie tote. It is a roomy bag that Caitlin uses as a book bag for school. I cannot tell you how many compliments she gets on that bag every time she takes it. The Robert Matthew company got its start when two buddies, Robert and Matthew were talking about the fashion trends in their native California. The pair wanted to develop a company that offered the hottest new fashionable yet functional handbags women everywhere would love.
They share over 17 years of experience in the fashion and handbag industry, so it was a logical step they put their talents and experience together for this venture. Their talented design team works around the clock, making sure the Robert Matthew customers get the latest styles and fashion forward looks, backed by a top notch customer service team! They carry gorgeous scarves, leather accessories, and brilliant jewelry, all in an affordable price range. If you are stuck on that perfect Valentine’s Day gift, head over to Robert Matthew and have a blast choosing something amazing! She will LOVE you for it!
