Most photographers find themselves busy this time of the year. Here in Florida it is not only season for holiday family photo shoots but the start of wedding season. Having the perfect photo card templates for your clients is important. Gradybug Designs is a fabulous photo card template shop. They have beautiful and unique designs for every occasion. They offer the perfect combination of modern and chic templates. I have been on the hunt for girl birth announcements. I will have a niece within the next week and wanted to find new and “fresh” template styles for my sister-in-law to choose from. I was thrilled when I came across Gradybug Designs! For this review, I was given the opportunity to review their Sweet Jolie Luxe Birth Announcement Collection.
The Sweet Jolie Luxe Birth Announcement Collection is a collection made up of 10 photoshop files that are downloaded to your computer from a email sent by the owners of Gradybug Designs. These files are compatible with Photoshop CS2 and higher as well as newer versions of Photoshop Elements and Photoshop for Mac. The owners, as well as myself, recommend having some experience in photoshop, layers, and clipping masks. With this knowledge you will find that the directions are VERY well written. The directions not only give a written explanations but also have pictures to help you understand the written directions (for those that learn better visually). Gradybug Designs also supplies a font sheet that gives the fonts used in the templates. That way I could use the same fonts when changing the wording to my own. The Sweet Jolie Luxe Birth Announcement Collection has 10 templates/ 5 cards front and back: 5×7 Scalloped Rectangle, 5×7 Ornate, 5×5 Scalloped Square, and 5×5 Scalloped Circle. If you asked me about a favorite template, it would be hard to choose because they are all so cute! I also love the fact that these templates can be used other then for newborn announcements.
