My kids love tees but I need graphic tees that are comfortable.  With Henry and his sensory processing disorder, we cannot put anything on him that is even the slightest bit scratchy.  The only shirts we can buy for him are usually cotton and hopefully pre-shrunk.  There is nothing worse than getting a cool shirt home and having Henry try it on, only to pull it off right away.  I have bought so many shirts that I returned or gave away because the fit or comfort was not up to par.  I hate to admit this, but sometimes I get so frustrated.  I don’t get angry with Henry of course, but at the situation.  With a special needs kid in the house, life can be a pleasure and a chore, sometimes within minutes of one another!!

Sensory Friendly Shirts

I was so pleased with the sensory friendly shirts from Hank Player from my review earlier in the year.  In order to “prove” to you how much Henry loves the Hank Player shirts, I want to tell you a quick story.  Back in the spring, I reviewed the “Surf Hollywood” shirt from Hank Player and it became one of the only shirts Henry could wear.  When I spoke to Sandy with Hank Player about my reviewing another shirt, she was glad to send us another Hank Player shirt.  Guess what Henry was wearing when his new Hank Player shirts came last week?  Yep, you guessed it.  He was wearing his “Surf Hollywood” shirt!!  Thank goodness we received two more awesome graphic tees from Hank Player.  We received the “Glow Dinosaur Tee” ($24.00) and the “Gym Class Hero” ($24.00).  What I love about the Hank Player tees is not only how soft they are but they are also very well constructed.  As many times as I have already washed the “Surf Hollywood” shirt, you may expect it to have fallen apart.  The shirt looks as good now as it did when we got it almost 6 months ago.  The other thing you will love is that it will not shrink on you.  I was worried initially and didn’t want to take a chance to wash the shirt for fear it would shrink and would be unwearable.  Nope!!  It was the same size out of the washer and dryer as it was when we first received it.  With Hank Player, you get style, comfort and affordability and those are 3 important aspects of clothing for me.  How about you?
