I am teased by my family about my good skin, hair and nails. I have really clear skin, my hair is thick and shiny and my nails grow like weeds. Now my dress size is another story, but that is for another day! When my husband and I first married, I would tease him about his extremely sensitive skin. He can break out at the thought of trying a new lotion or soap and if I dared ask him to try on clothes before they were washed, look out! We have been using products with no dyes or additives but we found that some of the products that said they were for sensitive skin were not always good for Chris’ skin. Once in a while we would find a soap that worked and then we could not find it anywhere after buying it just a few times! It was very frustrating. I recently learned about a company that makes their soaps with 100% all natural ingredients. Alabu Skin Care, which got is start from a home school experiment is quickly gaining a well deserved reputation.
Great Products To Clean Sensitive Skin
A friend of Maryclaire Mayes asked if her kids, who were home schooled, may be interested in learning how to make home made soap. Maryclaire and her kids were interested and when it came to put the final product to the test, Maryclaire was a bit wary. She could not believe how amazing her skin felt compared to the commercial soaps she had been using beforehand. So, Maryclaire began making soap as gifts and they took off like fireworks and her husband Dean convinced her to take the soaps to the public. I can attest that my husband is very happy that Dean talked his wife into selling these great products to clean sensitive skin (and not so sensitive skin as well!).
My family was sent 12 bars of the Goat Milk Soaps from Alabu Skin Care and my husband was so excited to try them. Among the deliciously aromatic soaps we received were Lavender Delight, Tea Tree Ultra Moisturizing, Oat and Honey Soothing and Lemongrass Moisturizing. Chris tried the Tea Tree and I am here to tell you that Ultra Moisturizing is an understatement. Chris’ skin felt softer than it has in years, he smelled great and most importantly, he had no negative reaction to the soap. I practically pushed him out of the way to try the Lemongrass soap and it was heavenly! M skin smelled so good and it was incredibly soft. I had to laugh because we have about 5 opened soaps in carious stages of wear in the shower right now! I have also been using the Honey and Oat on Henry because his skin is just as delicate as Chris’ skin but he does not like anything too “smelly”. Again, just so happy with the results. We are looking forward to a long lasting relationship with Alabu Skin Care and highly recommend them. You can purchase the Goat Milk Soaps from the Alabu online storefront for $5.15 each.
