Halloween Costumes For Kids

Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year!  The weather is finally starting to cool off, the days a little shorter and the leaves are starting to change (something I miss so much about living in Florida!).  I love planning our costumes and deciding what we are going to dress up as each year.  Now that I have children, it is even more fun!  My almost four year old son now has a very strong opinion on what he wants to be this year for Halloween – a police officer – no if, ands or butts!  I’m not very crafty nor do I have the time to make his costumes each year so I rely on online shopping sites to find the perfect Halloween costume.  This year Halloween Express was my go to store for everything I needed this holiday season for my kids.

They sent me a credit to chose products from their site for my review.  I immediately knew what I was going to buy for my son and started my search for police officer costumes.

Police Officer Costumes For Kids

HalloweenExpress.com was so easy to navigate!  I simply used the search engine in the top right hand side and within a few seconds I had my choice of perfect police officer costumes.  My son and I quickly decided on the costume that we liked the best.  The policeman costume we chose came with a 2 piece jacket and pants set with gold trim, gold buttons and a police shield on the shoulder, belt, hat, handcuffs and a toy billy club.  It is made out of 100% polyester and seems light and comfortable which will be great with the warm weather down in Florida.  The small (4-6) fit my son perfectly and looked great paired with a white t-shirt underneath. The Policeman Costume is manufactured by Paper Magic Group and is on sale for $24.99!

Air Force Fighter Pilot Costume

And since I know all four year olds can change their minds at the drop of a hat, I also got him an Air Force Fighter Pilot costume.  The costume comes with a full flight suit, complete with real patches on the chest and shoulder, as well as a hat.  It is made of 100% polyester and is gathered around the waist for a nice fitted look.  I am impressed at how much this resembles the real flight suits like my grandfather used to wear!!  I know these costumes will definitely be added to his dress up chest and will be used all year long!  (And its always nice to have a backup in case the police officer idea falls through Halloween Eve!).  The Air Force Fighter Pilot costume is manufactured by Rubie’s and is on sale for $34.99!

Although my one year old daughter won’t do much trick or treating this year, I also got her a costume , The Cute Hoot Owl!!  This costume is so adorable and I can’t wait to dress her up in it for Halloween.  The costume comes with an owl dress and matching headpiece.  The gold, purple, orange and pink colors of the costume go perfect together!  The dress as well as the headpiece are made of 100% polyester. I love the accents of gold corduroy on the costume, it adds so much character to the costume and makes it unique!  This costume is manufactured by Disguise and is on sale for $25.99!

Halloween Express also has a large selection of costumes for adults as well as costume accessories, Halloween decorations, costume makeup and so much more!  Visit them on Facebook for photos, coupons and a store locator.  Halloween Express is now offering a 10% off coupon with the discount code MAKOBISCRIBE with no minimum order.  This code is valid until 12/31/11!
