It was the Easter Bunny! He stopped by our house special to hide Easter eggs in our yard, and we caught him! The expression and excitement on my kids faces as they peered through the window, then ran outside in a flurry was worth Noah dressing up in one of the many Easter Bunny Suits that you can get from Costume Discounters. I took the kids in the bedroom, while Daddy dressed up…then we heard a strange noise outside! Kids love the Easter Bunny

Mason ran to the Easter Bunny’s side yelling, “Hello Bunny” over and over…so cute! Jakobi took advantage of this and started grabbing all the many colored eggs scattered across the lawn. He had his basket 1/2 full before Mason could even get out the gate! The picture above is actually the third time Mason paused egg hunting to hug the Easter Bunny.

Toddler Egg Hunting

You can see Jakobi’s mostly full basket, while Mason barely has any eggs. Then later (below) Jakobi decided to come by and hug the Easter Bunny. Later, he told us the Easter Bunny was going to visit every day. I am not so sure about that, but I can tell you he will be here next year for sure! The suit is well made and comes in many sizes so it will be sure to fit the wearer of your choice.

Interesting Factoid: Did you know that the history of Easter bunnies is often depicted very wrong as cited in the underlined link and you can actually read about the true history of how bunnies being depicted on Easter came from Ostara a pagan holiday in order to help the transition and conversion of pagans to the Roman Catholics back in the day.
