When your baby has sensitive skin
You often need to use a fragrance free and dye free detergent when your baby has sensitive skin. I know my son, Mason, has really sensitive skin. He breaks out in a rash if you even think about changing the laundry detergent. When he was a baby, we could only use certain types of fabrics because others would break him out in a rash. Of course, the first thing we did was switch to perfume and dye free laundry detergent. However, I love it when my clothes smell good. I like that fresh out of the laundry scent you get from using fabric softener and fragrant detergents. It just smells like a wonderful life to me. Silly I know, but fresh laundry just smells good when it has that fresh laundry smell! So, I started washing my kids clothes separate from ours. I know it is a little extreme, but I like my towels and sheets to smell yummy!
Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Plus Skin-Friendly Fresh Scent Laundry Detergent
I am a convert. I was sent a bottle of Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Plus Skin-Friendly Fresh Scent Laundry detergent which smells awesome and it is designed for sensitive skin! I tried it with Mason and Jakobi’s clothes and no rash! I finally can have a great smell with my laundry and no rash! I can save time by washing our clothes together. Do you know what that means? That means more time spending with my kids to get their clothes dirty! One of the best things I like is that it is safe for my HE machine. This means I do not even have to think about it when I grab the bottle off the shelf – It is safe for all machines. Arm & Hammer is the standard of purity so I would not expect anything less then just that. I am so glad I took the risk to try it on my family. I am pleasantly surprised, and the kids love the smell too. When I asked Mason what his shirt smelled like, he said, “Mommy.” For more information on how you can have your laundry smell great and not irritate your skin, check out the Arm & Hammer website, Facebook and product page.
