How To Keep Your Make Up Organized
Do you dump your cosmetics in one bag and want to figure how to keep your make up organized? I am terrible about chunking all my make-up into the same make up bag I have carried for about 10 years now. It is so shabby and threadbare that it really needs to be put out of its misery! The other problem with dumping your make up into one bag is that you are mixing your make- up with your brushes and if a case comes open, that makeup goes everywhere. I have ruined more than one nice and expensive make-up brush by a liquid foundation bottle leaking onto it and I didn’t discover it for a few days. I hate to throw away money and it seems that is exactly what I did that day.
There is a clever new product on the market that can keep your make-up, brushes and other accessories organized. The Lay-N-Go Cosmo is an 18” round cosmetic bag that can be opened to display your items and when you are done, it folds up into a clutch. The inner and outer fabric is washable and water repellent and the nylon cord that cinches the Lay-N-Go Cosmo closed is durable and strong. You can also access a zipper pocket that you can put jewelry, change or even a credit card and no one will know it is there! There is also a Velcro pouch that once the Lay-N-Go Cosmo is folded and the drawstring is pulled closed, you can tuck the cord away.
Carry Your Makeup Bag
Do you carry your make-up bag with you pretty much everywhere you go? When I was working in an office full-time, I carried my make-up bag all the time. It fit into my purse so I could touch up my make-up during the day, put a more dramatic color on for night and could take it with me if I was spending a week-end away for business. Now that I am not working full-time and I am not in school, I am not wearing as much make-up as I used to. What I do carry everywhere is my lip gloss, a little mascara, hand sanitizer and a few miscellaneous items. I found I could easy use the Lay-N-Go Cosmo ($29.95) for just about anything, not just make-up. I really love that you can open the Lay-N-Go Cosmo fully on a counter and the lip on the edge keeps your bag from sliding off the counter and on to the floor. Once I am done, I just pull the nylon cord closed and I tuck it into my bag and I am ready to go. I think the Lay-Go Cosmo would is great for carrying just about anything. I was thinking about when I went out to dinner and other adult activities and a bag like this would have been great to take with me. It is much less bulky than a conventional bag and you can put any number of things into it. The only limit would be your imagination and something that is just too big for the bag. I love this handy bag and I am so pleased to have it.
