How To Keep Your Recipes Organized
Have you wondered how to keep your recipes organized? I have a folder that is filled with hand written recipes that I really need to get in some kind of order. I wouldn’t be able to find where any particular recipe was unless I went through the entire folder and that would take forever. I do have cookbooks I refer to regularly but it is the hand written recipes from friends and family that I really want to hang on to and pass on to my kids when they leave home. I am so proud of Chelsea because she has become a great cook and it is always fun to work together in the kitchen when she comes for a visit. We were trying to find the meatloaf recipe that was handed down by a family member and we could not find that dang thing anywhere! We ended up going online and finding a pretty good substitute, but it just was not quite the same!
There is a really fun and unique company I found online that sells items for the kitchen that are a bit off the beaten path. Studio Oh! has a product line that is as cute as their company name!! Studio Oh! is the gift division of Orange Circle Studio Corporation which is a fantastic company that designs and sells calendars for your desk and walls and planner as well. The design esthetic is really beautiful with its gorgeous color choices, whimsical patterns and the not so whimsical patterns. The staff at Studio Oh! have very high expectations for the designs, quality and function of each of the products. When you see the products, you know exactly that is what they intended. Their artistic point of view is just breathtaking and you can tell that they really put their heart and soul into each design.
Delicious Recipes For Every Occasion
I want to have as many delicious recipes for every occasion so I can go directly to my recipe organizer or recipe box and find exactly what I am looking for. When I was trying to decide what to choose for the review items, I needed some help. I got really distracted by all the beautiful designs and I felt a “shiny, pretty…oh look it’s a squirrel moment coming on, so I asked Daniel Whang for help. Daniel suggested I review the mini recipe boxes ($9.99 each, with 6 categories to choose from), the recipe keeper ($32.99) and the 50 count paper placemats ($29.99). I chose the Retro Cafe design for the recipe keeper and the placemats. I cannot tell you how precious everything is! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the recipe boxes. Caitlin and I opened the Cupcake mini recipe box up first and decided to make the red velvet cupcakes. Oh! are they moist and delicious! We used the paper placemats with dinner that night even though my husband thought it was silly, but what does he know?! When Chelsea came we began getting all of the loose recipe cards I have and putting them into the recipe keeper. I am just so in love with this company and their quirky but useful products.
One reader will win a set of the 6 mini recipe boxes ($9.99 each). The set includes: Small Bites, Cupcakes, Champagne Drinks, Chocolate, Tea Time and Cookies for a total value of $59.94.
