How to make pb&J
I’m a PediaSure SideKicks Partner and am a sponsored blog partner, but all opinions are my own. Please see below for additional disclosure. I love my kids. I work hard to make sure they have everything their growing bodies need to develop and stay healthy. BUT…young kids can be difficult to keep happy, especially at meal time. Keeping it fresh, with new spins on old favorites for example, is a great way to encourage them to try new things. Kids grow up too quick and deserve the chance to be the silly amazing creatures they are!

I like to create fun activities, such as making a ‘cooking class’ video, as a part of making lunch and allow them to take an active role in the creation and decision making. As parents, it is our job to make the tough choices while allowing them to be joyous and free. By providing healthier options for them to choose from, I ensure they get the nutrition they need.

PediaSure is helping to make that easier with their SideKicks line of nutritional supplemental foods. The New PediaSure SideKicks Fruit & Veggie Smoothie mix is a simple, great-tasting way to help fill the daily nutritional gaps of the 60-93% of kids who are not getting enough essential vitamins such as fiber, calcium, vitamin D and potassium. When I mixed the PediaSure SideKicks with the jelly for their sandwich, I knew obviously it must taste great.

Steps To Making a PB & J Sandwich

  1. Get out the jelly, PB and bread.
  2. Get out a plate, knife and a napkin.
  3. Put two pieces of bread on your plate.
  4. Spread jelly on one piece of bread. Jakobi says to clean the knife by wiping the remaining jelly on the other piece of bread, so you don’t get jelly in the peanut butter.
  5. Spread peanut butter on the non-jelly slice of bread.
  6. Smoosh together and serve!
