Luma Comfort

I have never had any problems with allergies. My husband and son on the other hand, have terrible allergies. When the spring comes and everyone cannot wait to get outside and enjoy the weather. For my guys, they get itchy, red and watery eyes, sneezing and coughing. While everyone else is having fun in the sun, they are inside taking their allergy medicine. For the house, I have bought the HEPA filters for the HVAC which are the best filters for blocking allergens in your home. I have also bought a bag less vacuum that has HEPA filters as well. I buy allergy free laundry soap and cleaning products and clothing with natural fibers. In spite of all my efforts, I cannot clear our air of all the bad stuff in the air. I finally decided I needed to get an air purifier to take my efforts to the next level. The company that I feel is a leader in the industry is Luma Comfort.

How To Make Your Home Allergy Free

Since my ideas to get the allergens out of the air in my house were not working, I had to find a better alternative. A friend who has asthma told me she had an air purifier and it made a world of difference. I knew if I was going to do the same, I needed to find a company that I could trust with my family’s health. With Luma Comfort, you get a company with their customers well being as their top priority. They have researched and developed the highest quality small appliances for the home. Luma Comfort has dedicated their efforts to make your indoor environment as comfortable as possible.

I was sent the Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier and I must say, I am amazed. The design of the unit is sleek and simple and fits in with any decor quite nicely. The product is lightweight, so you can easily move it from room to room. With my lower back problems, this is a huge plus for me. The AP400W covers a 400 sq.ft. area, so it is perfect for your bedroom, office or for us, our living room. It has a carbon pre-filter, HEPA filter, VOC filter, TiO2 filter and UV light to remove over 99% of indoor pollutants.  If you have problems with dust, pollen, mold, pet dander (we have 2 cats) and other irritants, this will get virtaully all of them. The unit is incredibly quiet and it has a light which tells you when a filter needs to be changed out. I know may sound incredible, but we have only had the unit a week and I have seen a difference. My husband has not used his inhaler one time and he has cut his allergy medicine intake in half. Henry is only 12 and he has always had issues with snoring. Our doctor said it could be aggravated by his allergies. Guess what?! He slept with me a few night ago and I would not have known he was even in the bed! Instead of him sawing logs like a loud lumberjack, he was just breathing normally. My family and their health mean the world to me and any product that can enhance that is worth the same. This is one of those products. You can purchase your Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier for $269.00 at Sears, Kmart and other fine stores where home appliances are sold.

  2. I haven’t tried Luma products but I think I’d like the Comfort Air Purifier. Other than that my favorite product is vinegar. I use it for so many different things. It’s great.

  3. Actually my favorite product is the one you reviewed, but I also love the EC45S evaporative cooler. Never heard of anything like that before!

  4. I love the look of the HC12W cool mist humidifier! We really rely on our humidifiers during the winter because it’s so dry inside but most of them are pretty big eye sores.

  5. We live on a gravel road, and in the summer when it’s dry I get so much dust in the house. I would like the AP400W air purifier.

  6. My favorite product is this Air Purifier AP400W to help with allergies, but aside from it another item I would love to have is the Misting Fan MF18W because its so humid here in FL.

  7. My favorite product is the LUMA COMFORT HCW10B Cool & Warm Mist Humidifier. We could so use this with a little one on the way. It would also by great for my 8 year old who has problems with eczema when the heater is on.

  8. I really like the warm and cool humidifier. My husband and I are both prone to nosebleeds and humidifiers help!

  9. I’ve been wanting an air purifier forever! I’d also like to try the evap cooler as we have an enclosed sun room that gets pretty warm so we rarely use it during the summer. An evap in there would be helpful in letting us use the space year round.

  10. My favorite product would be the AP400W Air Purifier. My husband is very allergic to my cats (which I’ve had since before we were married) I would love to make it easier on him with one of those!

  11. I am not impressed with your comments about this air purifier with no items you compared to listed. Other air purifiers claim to clean as much contaminants without depending on a HEPA filters, what about them?

  12. I want the LUMA COMFORT MF26B

26″ Commercial Misting Fan for my back yard when we entertain.

  15. The AP400W Air Purifier would be great since 3 of the 5 of us have asthma and allergies. It’s so hard to keep the house clean enough.

  16. The exact one you are giving away – the AP400W. Hubby has a lot of allergies and we have birds, dogs and hedgehogs in the house!

  17. My favorite product is the one being featured in this giveaway, the Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier. What caught my attention is how your son stopped snoring and had an easier time breathing with the use of the purifier. I would love to have the cleanest possible indoor air day and night at home, so this product would really be something I would strongly consider.

  18. I would love to have a misting fan right on my back porch. I live in Florida, and it gets HOT! Thank you.
