Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach

From the moment we stepped in the doors at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa, we knew we would be pampered.  As we entered the desk to check in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a warm hello.  The check-in process was quick and easy and within a few minutes we were on the way to our room on the 16th floor.  We were speechless when we opened the door to our Premium 1 Bedroom King Room.  We were immediately impressed at the size of the suite and the upgrades in the furniture and kitchen!  As we entered the suite through the entry hall and passed our first bathroom on the left, we were welcomed into the full size kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.  The open living room/dining room had a large comfortable couch, chair as well as a large dining table with seating for four.  The living room led out to a balcony with an amazing view of the beach and pool area down below.  The second set of doors from the balcony led us into a large master bedroom complete with a King pillow-top Hyatt Grand Bed.   Double doors welcomed us into the second bathroom with a double vanity with granite countertops, large mirror and a huge walk in shower.  The suite also had nice personal touches to make you feel more like home such as the iHome iPod docking station.  We fought temptation to stay in this beautiful suite all weekend but we decided to go explore all that this amazing resort has to offer!

Luxury Hotels Clearwater Beach

When searching for a luxury hotel in Clearwater Beach, look no further than the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa.  Our suite was located on the 16th floor, which was also the Terrace level.  We were delighted to find a huge terrace just steps from our doorstep that overlooked the beach and pool.  There were several chairs and tables located up on the Terrace so people could go up there to enjoy the sunset while relaxing and enjoying a cocktail.  The hot tub was also located on the Terrace level and offered amazing views of the bay and the ocean.  The main level of the hotel included a bar, restaurant, as well as several meeting rooms for weddings and conferences.  We enjoyed breakfast at the SHOR American Seafood Grill and the food was delicious.  The Skimmer’s Coffee Bar is located directly off the SHOR Grill and served freshly brewed coffee, pastries and fruit for a quick on the go breakfast.  We also enjoyed some a rich and savory dessert later that evening as it transitioned into the Skimmer’s Lobby Bar.  The service at both our meals was second to none and our servers were very informative about the menu items when we were overwhelmed with all the amazing choices.

Clearwater Beach Spas

We made sure that we took a visit up to the one of the best Clearwater Beach Spas, Sandava Spa, to check out their services.  From the moment, we stepped off the elevator onto the Spa level, we felt complete relaxation.  Although the Spa level had several people getting treatements, it was quiet and calm.  There was a large area for guests of the Spa to relax near a waterfall and floor to ceiling windows with views of the water.  There were also drinks and snacks for the Spa guests to enjoy while relaxing before or after their treatments.  All the products used in the Spa are made from fresh organic ingredients.  Treatments include facials, body massages and manicures/pedicures, to name a few.  They even have a large room for couple massages.  The fitness center is also located on this level and is included in the cost of your resort stay.

Clearwater Beach Hotels

Out of all the Clearwater Beach Hotels, the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa offers the most beautiful pool in the area.  The picturesque pool is located on the 8th floor of the hotel.  As you step out onto the pool level, all you see in the distance is the endless view of the ocean.  There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pool area to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and views.  The SWIM Bar and Grill is located directly off the pool area and serves appetizers, sandwiches and assorted drink options.  If you want even more pampering and comfort, you can rent your own poolside cabana where food and drinks are at your command.  The twenty climate-controlled poolside cabanas include comfortable seating, flat screen TV, wet bar and your own private bathroom.  Sliding glass doors lead out on to your exclusive patio-shaded poolside furniture!
