Universal Sheraton Iron Man 3 Mom Bloggers

I was fortunate enough to attend the Iron Man 3 Red Carpet Premiere last week. Not only did I get to be one of the first ones to see the movie, I got to do so with my closest friends. Above is Crystal from Simply Being Mommy and Kas from Southern Bella’s Ways to Save. We packed up into a van and got dropped off not too far from the El Capitan Theatre. The streets were jam packed so we had to walk a few blocks to the event. Let me tell you that was a feat with the shoes I was wearing!

El Capitan Theatre Iron Man 3

As soon as we got out of the van, you could see the street all lit up with cameras flashing and the El Capitan Theatre sign was beckoning for us to come see the Iron Man 3 Premiere; however only a select few of the masses present were actually invited to go inside.

Look at all of the people just trying to get a glimpse of Robert Downey, Jr. I just so happened to be one of the lucky few who was invited inside, thanks to Disney! Can you spot him? He is right in the middle. When you are ushered inside the premiere you need to move pretty quickly along the red carpet. At some of the premieres I have been to in the past, you had time to snap a few pictures here and there, but this was such a star-studded event security was tight! We had to practice picture taking along with balancing on high heels AND walking at a brisk pace. I am not quite a pro; but I did get a few shots in!

At the very last minute before we had to head into the El Capitan Theatre to watch the movie, my best bud Jeana from Surf and Sunshine and I got a great Red Carpet pose in! Another really neat thing about being on the Red Carpet is that you get to appear in other bloggers pictures! You can see a great article on Damn, That’s Some Fine Tailoring and you can see me in one of their pictures!

IRON MAN 3 releases in theaters on May 3, 2013!

Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968.

In Marvel’s “Iron Man 3,” Tony Stark/Iron Man finds his world reduced to rubble by a malevolent enemy and must use his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him as he seeks to destroy the enemy and his cohorts.
