Growing up in the Star Wars generation, I am fairly familiar with the main plot and characters. This made it very fun for me to watch this movie! Even though my boys did not have that advantage, that definitely did not make them enjoy it any less.
Star Wars: Droid Tales! is a collection of five individual episodes, iuncluding: Exit from Endor, Crisis on Coruscant, Mission to Mos Eisley, Flight of the Falcon, and Gambit on Geonosis. Throughout the episodes, the entire Star Wars saga is summarized and re-told by C-3PO with his buddy R2-D2 at his side for part of the re-telling fun. When R2-D2 is suddenly abducted, a great rescue adventure ensues! As C-3PO returns to all of his old haunts in the galaxy, he reminisces about his memories with much hilarity. It all begins at the Ewok celebration on Endor at the end of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, and takes off from there. Along the way, all of the old favorites, such as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan-Kenobi, Luke Sywalker, and Princess Leia, eventually make an appearance. This movie provides excitement and thrills for the entire family. Even the preview is hilarious! If you haven’t already, you can see it below.
