Lenovo ThinkVision Monitor Review

I’m addicted to dual monitors as you can tell by the above picture.  The two screens to the left are what I normally use, and the Lenovo ThinkVision Monitor I received for review. You can tell by the size comparison it would be perfect for portable use.  in In fact, I would have at least two (if not more) every time I use a computer.  The problem is, it hasn’t been very easy or convenient to haul along a second monitor with you when you’re traveling with your laptop.  Lenovo is changing all of that.  They’re introducing the ThinkVision LT1421 portable LCD monitor.  It’s a second 14 inch LCD monitor that can easily travel wherever you and your laptop go!  At under two pounds and less than an inch thick, the Lenovo ThinkVision doesn’t weigh you down, but provides the same convenience of being able to work or give a presentation with that all-important second monitor.

If you’ve never used dual monitors, you’re missing out!  They’re easy to set up and easy to use as well.  Basically, you can have two programs open at once and just drag one over to the second screen so that you can read both at the same time instead of having to toggle between the two programs.  It’s wonderful for comparing data while compiling documents or spreadsheets, and comes in really handy for presentations and group training sessions.  Comparing data on one screen can sometimes be impossible, depending on the amount of data you’re looking at.  Gone are the days that you need to print out pages of data to try to compare side-by-side on your laptop!  Simply plug the Lenovo ThinkVision into your USB port and work away!  With 16 different brightness levels, the screen adjustable to almost any angle, and a convenient travel case that has been tested to ensure durability during travel, Lenovo has made sure that this monitor can be useful anywhere you need to take it!  Dual monitors aren’t just for business people any longer, either.  Whether you’re working on your resume while looking up tips online, shopping and comparing prices between websites, or answering emails while blogging, dual monitors are now making their way into not just offices, but homes as well.

This is one piece of technology that every laptop user should have.  If you have a business, there is not another piece of technology that I can think of that will increase productivity and that is as diverse as the Lenovo ThinkVision.  In this day and age, time is money, so the investment is worth it when you see how much time you’ll be saving down the road by being able to multi-task wherever you are.  Plus, if you purchase yours before 3/31/12, you can get 10% the Lenovo ThinkVision LT421 LCD monitor by entering the code LENOVOMOMS at checkout.
