Reusable Sandwich and Snack Bags
LunchSkins Reusable Sandwich and Snack Bags are my new “must have” item in my diaper bag! Â Snacks are a must when leaving the house with two small kids. Â No matter how much you feed them, the minute you are pulling out of the driveway, its “I’m hungry!!!!”. Â I got into the bad habit of always using disposible snack bags but realized that I was buying a new box every week! Â Not only is this hard on the wallet, it’s so bad for the environment. Â Everyday, I found myself throwing out at least 10-15 plastic bags that I had used between my husband, kids and I. Â I also love to teach my kids about resuing and recycling things and using reusable sandwich bags is a great start!
Reusable Snack Bag Sets
I was sent a reusable snack bag set from LunchSkins to review. Â I was sent two different sizes to try, a snack bag size and a sandwich bag size. Â The Snack bag measures 6.5 x 3.5 inches and is the perfect size for pretzels, goldfish, grapes or any other smaller snack. Â It’s the perfect portion for my kids! Â The snack bag is yellow and white striped and is so bright and fun!! The Sandwich bag measures 6.5 x 6.5 inches and holds a sandwich perfectly, whether it be the standard square or my favorite circular sandwich thins. Â The design of the sandwich bag is from the fruit series – slices and is white and fuchsia! The LunchSkins reusuable bags are made from lightweight certified food-safe cotton and are lead-free, BPA-free and phthalate-free. Â They are dishwasher safe and quick drying! Â Best of all, they are all hand sewn in the USA! Â The snack size bag retails for $7.85 and the sandwich size for $8.95. Â There is also a sub bag that retails for $10.95.
