New Veggie Tales DVD Coming Soon

When my kids heard the new Veggie Tales DVD coming soon from Big Idea Entertainment and we were able to review it, they flipped out!  We absolutely love Veggie Tales for their great lessons, the silly songs and all the quirky and loveable characters.  I think the kids get a big kick out of seeing the different characters appear in various roles in several of the stories.  We would have a hard time deciding who our all-time favorite character was, but I am leaning towards Larry the Cucumber.  We think Larry is the perfect balance between silly and down-right goofy and he is the perfect side kick to Bob the Tomato.  The latest DVD from Big Idea, “Little Ones Can Do Big Things Too” (ARV $12.99) is hitting stores on 9/15/12 and it contains three favorite stories: Dave and the Giant Pickle, Pistachio: the Little Boy Who Woodn’t and Lyle, the Kindly Viking.  This 120 minute DVD has new footage and new silly songs.

Veggie Tales from Big Idea Entertainment, is a series of moral lessons which are taught by a bunch of vegetables!  Sounds silly doesn’t it? Well, good because that is exactly what this cast of characters is all about!  Having fun while teaching kids faith and morally based stories.  The lead characters are Bob the Tomato and Larry the cucumber, are the best team since Martin and Lewis.  Bob is the more serious guy and Larry is his sillier side kick.  Since their beginnings in 1993, Veggie Tales have sold more than 60 million videos, 13 million books and more than 7 million CD’s.  The Veggie Tales television show enjoyed entertaining kids for 4 seasons and many stations showed another show from the Big Idea family, 3-2-1 Penguins!  If you want to meet a cast of characters that are hilarious, you need to check out this cast of space travelers.

3-2-1 Penguins The Complete Season One

My kids could hardly contain themselves when they learned we were going to review the 3-2-1 Penguins, the complete season one (ARV $14.99).  This 13 episode, 236 minute DVD is packed full of the antics of the 3-2-1 Penguins cast.  If you love Fidgel, Midgel, Sidgel and Kevin, this is a must have for your family.  We absolutely love Kevin who is the perfect fall guy to the other astronauts.  The series was rated #1 and was shown on television on Saturday mornings. My kids looked forward to the stories of the twins, Jason and Michelle, who are sent to their grandmother’s for a visit.  The two start exploring and soon find a way to tap into the fantasy world of a group of penguin astronauts who find themselves in many siily situations, all of which teach a valuable lesson, while maintaining wholesome fun and entertainment.  If you are a fan, this is the DVD for you!!
