
- ¼ c minced white onion
- ¼ c almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 c basil leaves, finely chopped
- 1 T fish sauce
- 1 T Braggs Soy Sauce
- 1 t minced garlic
- ½ t kosher salt
- ½ t black pepper
- ½ lb ground sirloin
- 3 c tri color cabbage slaw or broccoli slaw mix (shown)
- 1 c thinly sliced red onion
- 1 T Thai chili sauce, or Sriracha
- ½ t kosher salt
- ½ t black pepper
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Combine onion, flour, eggs, basil, fish sauce, Braggs, garlic, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Stir well to combine.
- Add sirloin; stir until just combined. I ground mine in a food processor.
- Divide evenly into 6 large meatballs.
- Place on glass baking pan
- Bake 20 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.
- Combine slaw, onion, oil, chili sauce, salt and pepper in a large bowl; toss to coat.
- Let stand 30 minutes – 1 hour before serving.
