What can you and your guests do?
Before and after the wedding there is plenty to experience in Punta Cana. Consider a trip to Samana, a northeast peninsula 30 minutes by plane. You can then take a horse ride for 30 minute ride to “El Salto del Limon” one of the country’s most famous and beautiful waterfalls, and cool off in the crystal clear waters. A perfect honeymoon experience.
Take a tour to “Cayo Levantado”, also known as Bacardi island to experience the bar set amongst the palm trees. Reach the island on board a glass bottom boat allowing you to view the extraordinary colours of the sea life along the Punta Cana coastline. Head to the “Marinarium” which is a marine life oasis set in the middle of the ocean and take the opportunity to snorkel and scuba and swim with stingrays.

Although you may think that a wedding in such a beautiful place like Punta Cana should cost a small fortune, the prices of weddings here are actually significantly cheaper than back at home. There are many different packages available for you to choose from and you will find that for the same price as you could rent a church and rooms for the reception in the US, that you could comfortably pay for many of the higher-end packages.
