Recycled Jewelry

I have recently heard of a new fashion trend which is recycled jewelry.  This can mean several different things, depending on who you ask.  The term can mean jewelry made from recycled materials or it can mean vintage jewelry which has found a new life.  This is really cool because it’s not like you can tell the jewelry was used as something else before, because to you and I, it looks like a new and fashionable piece of jewelry.  I think this is a really neat concept.

EONA Adornments from Mary Bradshaw is a jewelry shop that takes her name from; Everything Old is New Again (EONA) Recycled, Re-purposed, Re-invented Jewelry.  Mary’s favorite place to find her inspiration may be a rummage sale, a vintage store or an estate sale. She has an eye that can spot a treasure when we may not be able to see the same promise.  Once she chooses an item to be re-purposed, she tweaks it and as she says, “gets to live another day”.  If you contact Mary at her Etsy shop, she can try to custom make an item for you or if you have a beloved item you would like her to work with, convo her and see what she comes up with.

Old Jewelry Made New

You have to love someone who can make old jewelry made new again!  I honestly wouldn’t be able to tell you if a piece of jewelry is made in China or was a vintage piece that has found a new path.  Mary Bradshaw was generous enough to send me several bracelets to review.  Her style is unique while it is truly Mary.  It is hard to explain, but if you take a look at her Etsy shop, you can see what I mean.  She has a gift with finding something that is one its last legs and making it look brand new, all the while in her particular style.  The bracelets I received were all earth tones, which I loved because I can wear them with anything.  You can wear them to work, to the park with the kids or out for a night on the town.  Mary has really tapped into a creative way to style others with her great pieces.

One reader will win one bracelet from EONA Adornments valued up to $50
