Shirts For Kids
I am a huge music lover and when I find rocking shirts for kids, I cannot resist grabbing a few. As a parent, it is so cool when my kids acquire a love for something that I treasure and that they will pass it on to their kids. When it comes to music, I have an ongoing yet rivalry with my oldest daughter, ChooChoo. I have influenced her love of 80’s alternative artists, the Indigo Girls and going to music festivals. In turn, ChooChoo has introduced me to some of the most amazing artists from The Beatles (I haven’t always liked them) to Mumford and Sons. We also cherish our prized concert t-shirt collection we have been adding to for years.
It is not that easy to find truly cool shirts for kids that are also made well. Laura Angotti, the owner of Rowdy Sprout, is a creative woman who has been making kids look cool since 2003. Laura has a background in costume design but followed her heart and she began selling her rocker tees in NYC, selling out within a few weeks! At Rowdy Sprout you can find a plethora of items ranging from a Van Halen onesie ($29) for your future guitar player to Blondie pajamas ($59) for your future American Idol star. There is something for all ages and all musical inclinations!
Music Inspired Clothing
When it comes to finding awesome music inspired clothing, there are not a ton of options on the Internet. I believe you won’t find a company who has the owner’s heart and soul in their work like Rowdy Sprout. I have found a kindred spirit with this colorful and talented woman! She has hand-picked every band for her clothing and a percentage of the proceeds of Laura’s shirts go directly to the band whose logo she uses. I was more than happy to take a few shirts off Laura’s hands for my review. I respectfully chose two classic bands; The Beatles and Journey. Oh yea, make fun about Journey but they ROCK! Front row, center, The Omni in Atlanta, 1983 with Bryan Adams opening. AHHHH! I was stunned at how soft the Rowdy Sprout shirts are and the classic logo Laura puts on each shirt is super cool. It is no surprise after receiving the shirts from Laura that she can be found in over 300 boutiques in the states and in Europe. Laura has also been dressing the kids of the Hollywood elite, so keep a look out for Julia Robert’s or Angelina Jolie’s kids sporting the coolest rock band shirts for kids.
Thank you to Laura for offering one lucky winner their choice of one item from Rowdy Sprout, valued at up to $59
